Hazrat Uwais al-Qarni رضی اللہ عنہ ka taluq Yemen se tha aur wo Nabi ﷺ ke zamane me zinda thay, lekin apni walida ki khidmat ki wajah se Madinah aa kar Nabi ﷺ ki ziyarat na kar sake.
Unki maa bimar aur un par mukammal inhisar karti thi, is liye Uwais رضی اللہ عنہ ne maa ki ijazat ke baghair kahin jana gawara na kiya.
Isi be-misal khidmat aur farmabardari ki wajah se Allah ne unka maqam bohot buland farma diya.
Nabi ﷺ ne apne visaal se pehle صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم ko pehchan bata kar farma diya ke jab Uwais al-Qarni milen,
to un se apni maghfirat ke liye dua karwana, kyun ke wo Allah ke maqbool bandon me se hain.
Ye waqia is baat ka wazeh saboot hai ke maa ki khidmat insan ko Allah ke qareeb kar deti hai.
Uwais رضی اللہ عنہ ghair mashhoor thay, lekin aasman walon me unka naam bohot buland tha.
Is se humein ye sabaq milta hai ke walidain ki khidmat, khaaskar maa ki, sirf farz nahi balkay jannat ka rasta hai.
English Explanation:
Uwais al-Qarni (R.A) lived in Yemen during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ but never met him because he devoted his life to serving his mother.
His mother was ill and depended entirely on him, so he never left her without permission.
Due to this exceptional obedience and service, Allah elevated his status greatly.
Before his passing, the Prophet ﷺ informed his Companions about Uwais and described him clearly.
The Prophet ﷺ instructed the Companions that when they meet Uwais al-Qarni, they should ask him to pray for their forgiveness.
This shows how beloved Uwais (R.A) was to Allah because of his devotion to his mother.
Although unknown among people, his rank was extremely high in the sight of Allah.
This narration teaches that serving one’s parents, especially one’s mother, leads to Allah’s pleasure and acceptance.
